I grew up watching his grandfather Ray Crawford battle Emmett Hahn at the Tulsa Fairgrounds speedway.

Now I understand his mother was NOT killed. Sorry for the incorrect information. Donnie and his grandpa are the 2 dead.

Wow. Not only is this sad news, but it comes right on the heels of the story of Harli White's amazing comeback, from the terrible injuries she sustained in her fiery crash. A comeback that probably wouldn't have been possible had Donnie Ray not risked his life and quickly pulled her from her burning race car. R.I.P. Donnie Ray.
