Just saw where midgets are being added to the Gateway Dirt Nationals this year in an invitational format.

It would be a much better racing product than the fender cars on such a tight track. It would probably be a better race than the Chili Bowl too if the track is decent.

I think the mods and Lates have a good chance of destroying the track for the midgets... i.e. super slicked off and no cushion. I hope I'm wrong; but it'd be hard to prep a track to be good for all 3.

This has been a fun show both years. More fun added to the party. From the track layout I think the midgets will be an excellent show. I’m also glad it is on a separate weekend from DuQuoin. Now I can go to both.

It's going to be invite only. So the promoter will invite the best names I'm sure. Like the Indy invitational race.

this ought to piss emmett off! personally i hope this takes off! st louis is closer to home, the stadium can host a much larger crowd and it isnt in the middle of a demilitarized zone! not to mention, more hotel options!
