I have never had the privilege of meeting Mr. Gardner, but I certainly have enjoyed his work in the creation of IOW. May he rest in peace and may the good Lord bring peace to his loved ones.

Few people leave this world with a legacy. IOW is Mr. Gardner's legacy and it falls to all of us to keep it the open, respectful site for all things related to Open Wheel racing in Indiana that he envisioned.

I haven't been around here long enough to really know Mr. Gardner, but from what I gather so far he was the founder of this site, loved open wheel racing, worked on race teams, and was a really great guy. What else am I missing?
