Chris Mann, former TQ champion has passed away from his battle with cancer. He was one of the nicest guys you'll ever talk to. I was just walking around with him at PRI, and went with him to the Indy Invitational with him. Shared a lot of racing memories that night.

Rest in power Chris.

Raced with Chris for many years in TQs. You couldn't find a nicer guy to know or pit beside. I'm gonna miss my buddy.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2016 and from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Hope’s Point Baptist Church, 1703 S. Miller Avenue in Shelbyville.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church, with Rev. Ed Mohr officiating.
