It's with much sadness I pass this along. Former USAC car owner back in the 70's-80's Steve Enslow passed away Saturday. Steve lived in Huntington, West Virginia and more recently in New Orleans. La. Steve loved racing and was quite a character. RIP to a longtime friend and racing buddy Steve Enslow.

I knew Steve & his wife Marilyn from a totally different scene, zydeco dancing in Louisiana (lots cheaper than racing!) Then he mentioned that they used to own a sprint car, I had someone to discuss racing with at our dances.
Great guy, knew how to have fun!... RIP

They used to race when you had to run wings & non wing, dirt & pavement. He said it got too expensive, even back then. Their house was filled with all sorts of cool oddities....

Think Steve won a USAC sprint car championship with Mark Alderson driving.
