The new dirt track being built at Edgewater now has a website up and they advertise the track as a 4/10's mile High Banked Dirt Track. Per the website the track will operate on Friday's and Sunday's. Under the "DRIVERS" tab it's posted as Pure Stocks, Sprints, Modifieds, Crates, & Hornets.

2024 Season: Race 1 - April 20th Brownstown (Crate LM). Unlike many I don't discriminate on what racing I choose to watch.

Talked with a guy a couple weeks ago who brought lights in. Said there are 96 for the track. Also said that they've started getting permits as the work requires.
Interesting it says Crate LM's on the site but no Super Lates?

Advertising for track construction workers on their FB page.
Rules for classes on their website.
Shooting for late may, early june racing. Gonna be tough to make that.

That's odd. I seen on the website calendar when I clicked to April It said Opening Day April 28th.

That's not going to happen. They told a local racing club that they're aiming for Late May Practice, racing in June. In reality there isn't much done other than the basic cut in. Maybe turn three of the track is finished but no lights in, only a section of base for the wall.

That was the original plan. With the very cold weather and heavy rains, obviously that's no longer possible. They probably just haven't gotten around to updating the website.
