I think a lot of this is due to THAT scheduling happening so late. I bet no matter what date was picked, it would be on a date another track races. Hopefully next year there won't be as many as these dates wtih the 09 schedule being figured out now (I would hope) for THAT.

Hey Mike McCormick (if that's your real name?),
When you spew the same lame poop out your mouth with nothing to back it up, NOBODY LISTENS! Calling people you've hardly done business with crooked? Calling other talented drivers "nobodies" just because they choose to run with an organization you dislike? You are obviously on a mission to dis-credit POWRi, but you can't back it up. You have only been on this board a month and the majority of posts you've made are jabs at POWRi. I don't know what Siner did to you, but GET OVER IT! While you may have ruffled some feathers, your posts lack any substance and are not taken seriously. Now, I know people have had bad calls or things not go their way. And there will always be someone to complain about something. But I have never seen favortism or cheating from the officials and the shows are run on time regardless of car count. I've been watching USAC racing since I was 7 and cannot say the same about them (unfortunately for USAC, they've had a lot more history to choose from). I have been around this series as both a spectator and a driver since it started. The POWRi series is what got me back into open wheel racing and many others into it for the first time. NOT USAC!!! POWRi racing IS the reason midget racing is strong again in this area. So go run with USAC! Have fun! Spend tons of Money! But quit your arrogant rants from across the sanction fence.

I will be attending the wedding of my wife's nephew, so I had to cancel my reservations for the Hut Hundred. I really enjoy watching that bunch of nobodies race at Belle-Clair, and I hope that next year there is no conflict. Someone asked on this board recently if the Hut Hundred had ever run in October before. I thought it had but couldn't find in my records that I had ever attended one in that month. I believe that Gary Congdon was fatally injured in a midget race at Terre Haute in Oct. 1967, but I don't know if it was the Hut Hundred or not, since I was not there. Maybe some veteran race fan out there will know.
