Curious, what's the difference from the Shootout being run without restrictions to the CB with 25%. I don't get it. Same building. Different week. Makes zero sense to me. Someone educate me.

One of the main differences between the ShootOut and the Chili Bowl is that the ShootOut does not sell reserved seats. Therefore it would be much easier to limit attendance to whatever the figure is set at. Once they sell the number of general admission tickets to get to the limit the "No Vacancy" sign is turned on and no more tickets are sold.

There will be a lot less disappointment that way then if you can only allocate 3750 tickets to 15,000 reserved ticket holders. I still think there is a lot they are not telling us.

I would suggest buying the apparently unrestricted pit pass and sit where ever you want. there will be plenty of empty seats. Or maybe not if they sell enough pit passes.
