A very unusual announcing style, to say the least.

A huge thanks to those who were responsible for making this show available to be viewed and enjoyed. The quality was good and the racing was very entertaining. The announcer's style was different, but the opportunity to watch live racing overshadowed any shortcomings we felt the announcer was guilty of.
We appreciate the heads up on the broadcast Vukie, we'd have missed it for sure without you!! Thank you, thank you, thank you one and all who were responsible for the broadcast.

The announcer is Jim Naylor, the man that runs the whole show at Ventura. He waters and preps the track and makes the whole thing possible. If anyone has not made a trip to Ventura, I highly recommend it.
Remember Naylor's call of the SCRA race in 1998 between Jeremy Sherman and Mike Kirby, here it is in case you missed it... He gets very excited to say the least of his race calls! |
