Nothing wrong with what Ken Dobson has done and no reason for him to have to explain it some people and racers will pick and decide on where they want to race and support. No different than tracks running against sprintweek or smackdown happens every year and will continue to do so.

I surely do appreciate Mr Dobsons transparency and his integrity. We could use more of his type in our racing world. That’s not to say however Jonr doesn’t have a point. Maybe it’s a small portion of people but I feel for those who have to choose

It's not a crown jewel race until it gets moved to a decent track. Wayne City is a crap hole track. It just happens to be in a relatively convenient location for both IL and IN fans. Moreover, like the man said, how many race teams really have a hard choice to make between the two races?

Tickets can be purchased at the gate at Wayne City.

Seeing that this is a make-up date for a rainout, I suspect very few tickets will be available.

Possibly you will welcome National Midgets at the track that you own?

To me Jacksonville vs Wayne City is a non-issue due to the distance between them. I have been to Jacksonville once but it is a looonnnggg drive from Evansville so Wayne City is my only option. There may be some Illini fans who live a near equal distance from the two tracks and they do indeed have a viable option. Hope everybody sees some good racing and stays dry this weekend. (Especially Haubstadt)! Hurricane aftermath stay away!!!

So, I don't think you really mean track ownership is a prerequisite to an opinion?
