17 sprints came out for hot laps. Track looks good for how hot it is. Hupp, Able, JJ Hughes, Eric Gordon’s son Jake, a few of the cars here.

Cars here tonight qualifying order
41 Cole Ketchum 18 ? 23 Travis Spencer 22 Brandon Spencer 11 Applegate 7 Logan Hupp 76 JJ Hughes 41 Jake Gordon (Eric Gordon’s son) 29 Eric Spaulding in a 305 without the wing 58 Jamie Fredrickson 04 Drew Able 26 Gidens 3x Tyler ? In the wall in qualifying kept going 34 Parker Fredrickson 51 Scott Hampton 21 Travis Harry Hard in wall off turn 4 but stayed on all four broke rear end Logan Hupp fast time followed by Able and JJ Hughes Track slicking off especially in 4 but no where close to dusty and getting any dirt in my beer

Got a good show in 2 weeks on July 28 at Twin Cities
Sprints, 305 wing sprints, mini sprints, and tq midgets All open wheel cars. Only other track running in Indiana is Sprint Week at Haubstadt

The car that Gordon is driving is the car Brady Bacon won the USAC championship in two years ago for Hoffman's.

He looks really smooth in that car. Probably better than Dad was on dirt

Sprint feature running last. Pushing off for feature at 9:52. Early night.
Track is still in really good shape. They have not added water at all tonight. What track can say that in this heat. Heat index over 100 and still a great track. This year has been some of the best track conditions I have seen in years at Twin Cities.

Feature.
JJ Hughes out to early lead followed by Hupp Hampton closing in 3rd Hupp to lead followed by Hampton Hampton on the bottom really quick Yellow about half way Hupp, Hampton, Gordon making a good charge after a bad start, and JJ Hughes top 4 Hampton to lead after 2 laps after restart Top 2 back and forth Hupp back to the lead. Yellow again for Gordon spin in 1 running 4th. Hupp, Hampton, Hughes restart. Finish Hupp, Ketchum charging late, Hampton, Hughes, and Able top 5. Good race. Top 5/6 close all night. Race over at 10:13. Very early night. Great track tonight. Hats off to Twin Cities.
