Friday - We might get some racing in this weekend.
Brownstown Speedway for the No Way Out 40 $10,000
Gas City I-69 Speedway for Season Opener.

Weather finally looks decent for a whole weekend.
Should be a good field of cars at both tracks since their the only Friday races in the region for the 410 Non-Wing Sprints.
Going to be interesting to see which drivers and teams show up at either track.
Big money at Brownstown vs Re-Grand Opening at Gas City as a weekly track.

Having difficulty making a decision for this one. I’m sure brownstown will get the better count with the money up for grabs. But Gas City is just shy of a 1 hour drive versus a 2 hour trip to B-town. May just have to flip a coin when Friday gets here

I dont think you have been paying attention in the recent past. The more $$ the less cars. I think you will get the north douth split just like when GC and Bloomington are running against each other. The USAC guys may go for the $$ but the locals go where they think they can make the feature irregardless of the purse

I think you’re probably right about the last part. I don’t know about more $$$, less cars though. Mansfield is going to have a monster winged show with their huge purse. Already a ton of entries

Totally different group of racers for the most part.

Brownstown a weekly racer can compete on if they're good on the slick..

I'll be at Brownstown and Burg this weekend, hope everyone has a fun safe weekend.

And the car count is higher because they know the outlaws won't be there. If you look on any given race night in Indiana, the race that pays the least usually gets the most cars. Check it out some Saturday

Mid as well only allow one track a night to run. That way the same guys will show up to the big money show and the rest will stay at home. Like crankin Craig said once, "when your washing your car in the driveway your neighbors never ask who you beat, just where you finished".

Bloomington only has *10* 410 races left for the entire season, that is if none get rained out. Sad.
