Looking for a Winters Midget Left Side Bell (with brake bosses); attempt at repairing stripped threads on one of the bosses on mine has rendered it junk.

Jim some body makes a bracket that uses the outer bolts of the bell to mount the caliper, it’s a repair part so to speak. I know leaders edge had them not sure who now that they’re gone

Jim, you can buy studs that are 3/8' on one end, and whatever you want on the other end, if the boss isn't broken, just drill on thru, and runner. I'd recommend 3/8 on one end and 1/2"on the end that will go in the bell, by going through the bell makes it stronger, I've made several the other way, when the bell was really bad broke. Bob

Thanks for the info Bob, unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your perspective) I've already got a replacement bolted on and the rear end is getting plugged in this week.

Good for you, now you have time to make the repairs to the surviver, and have a spare, I ran about 10+ years with no problems, then took a hard hit, and it was down hill from there, side bells, center, got lots of magnesium laying around.
