i put some assembly lube on them first, it helps a bit. Put the fitting in a vise (use soft jaws if you have some) and push like heck on the hose!

I do the same thing that badcoupe stated, but I also use a heat gun on the hose to soften it up a bit.It doesn't take much heat and seems to help the hose slip on much easier.

I Stick the end of the hose in boiling water for a couple minutes to warm it up. They normally slide together pretty easy after that.

I use either STP, or chain lube, and put a straight fitting in the swivel, and they push on pretty easy, but with that many, the tool might be a smart move! Bob

A bit of heat and some DAWN dish soap seams to work wonders.

Like drcracer said. Get a hot plate and a small pot of water. I've done all my push lock with boiling water and it makes it much easier. The heat gun will work but you have to be careful not to damage the hose. The best part is you don't need the tool or anything else. Good luck
