Hello IOW friends,

Does anyone have any info on veteran sprint car owner Art Peacock? Haven't seen or heard anything about Art. Last time I chatted with him was at DuQuoin midget races, a while ago.

Thanks,

Have a good day...see you at the races,

Rich

Sadly he passed away in 2012. He wrote a great book about his adventures in racing.

If either of you guys who have the book would give me the name of the publisher on this forum I will chase down info on getting a book. Unfortunately, I think I accidently blocked the Private Message route and don't know how to 'unblock' it. Sorry.
Or if I can get contact info for Darlene, she may have an extra book that she might be willing to part with.

Wanda; Apparently it was self-published. The address in the book is 890 Armstrong St., Morris, Il 60450. Phone # 815-942-1460. I hope that helps, but if it doesn't and you can unblock your PM, send me your address and I'll send you my copy.
