Wow, these guys were hauling the mail. Dang!

I thought the coverage was horrible. I don't know what happened to Santos after the checkers? At least send a mechanic up to the podium or something. It really cheapened the "celebration." Does Drew not command enough respect? No one seemed to be in any kind of hurry to head up to the rostrum.

Hamilton drove a great race, despite Welpott stopping on the track late (for the second race in a row) Getting onto pit lane seemed a bit tricky so possibly that was it. Did Santos tires seal over? He had nothing to Hamilton (who drove really, really well) congrats to the Legacy Racing Team. That is not only a cool looking car but goes like a bullet as well.

That was a cool race. Bischak has arrived IMO, dude has some big ones.

Grant might deserve a call out after spanking folks on dirt then getting a third on pavement one day later.

The racing was good. Hopefully a couple more pavement shows added next yr. Maybe a return to Milwaukee and Salem?

Drivers and their fans complain about not getting opportunities to move up and how hard it is to get sponsorship. Well, representing race sponsors and your team sponsors is a BIG part of big time racing now days. Bobby Santos III and his team missing the interviews and the trophy presentation is a missed opportunity.

Now, Bobby Santos III is a veteran than knows how the game is played and I’ve got to believe there was either some mitigating circumstances or some significant miscommunication that kept him from the interview(s) and trophy presentation, but it still reflects poorly.

Great race!! So much better with Swanson dropping out. The post race was about as clumsy as it could be. Was Santos pissed they didn’t black flag the 19 car for leaking oil? Either way, a bit unprofessional. The racing was stellar though.

Just a thought on BS III. Is it possible he was breathing in the smoke from the #14 car and felt sick? Even though I'm a BS III Homer ( ) I still would have liked to see him interviewed.

The 19 was not smoking that bad! I blame the post race on USAC. Its not that hard to be organized. Almost like they just mailed it in. The race was good. Far better in person.
