This weekend will be the first time at at these tracks, coming from PA. Can someone help with a few questions? Willl we be able to get a good seat in the stands coming at gate time at Bloomington? Can you save seats early at Haubstadt? Is eye protection necessary for dust in the stands? Are the tracks byob or do they sell beer there? Any must have food or best places to sit? We can’t wait to see some racing here! Thanks for any help

I know at haubstadt you can save seats but can’t use tape anymore so I suggest bungee straps and a blanket

First off you will love it and I hope the weather cooperates. Both tracks you can byob, just no bottles. New grandstands at Bloomington. We like parking on the back side at Bloomington and not at the main entrance. Both places you will be able to get good seats. Haubstadt implemented new seat marking rules that you can’t use tape to mark seats, but you can use bungee cords, seat backs, ect.
Frontstreatch at Haubstadt you will have to deal with the sun for a little while. Usually Bloomington if you sit in grandstands your more likely to get hit with a ball of clay, usually not dusty. Sometimes Haubstadt gets a little dusty, but usually not very bad. A lot depends on which way wind is blowing too if there is any. I would recommend clear eye protection for both. Burgers at Haubstadt are outstanding!! Sandy’s pizza is also a option at Haubstadt. They will deliver to the track.
Have fun and enjoy

If you can buy a reserved seat for TSS I highly recommend it (seat backs and lots of leg room) you can bring in anything at TSS (no glass)

Bring eye protection. Bloomington is known to have clay fly into the stands; and Tri-State even with all the water can get dusty in the feature. Better to have than to not.

Sitting just to the right of the flag stand at Bloomington in the stands.
