Would be nice if they got the sprint A main finished so the sprint drivers could go to Kokomo tomorrow night.

Just home from the Burg and very disappointed, that was setup to be some good racin in the B and A Mains. Mods were running good as well. Was glad Robert B. was in the first heat so that he was able to run the wall don't think that was going to be possible in the Main. Hope everyone makes it home safe with the storms.

They said nothing other than to check the web for updates.
The thing here is to be able to get most of the cars that were there to run their features and also have the fans be able to make it back. That being said, they made the right call. In reality the bulk of the storm missed us but the never know factor with lighting bolts visibly striking the hills behind the track was in full effect. Did get a solid hour of rain though. LBurgs Sprintweek race is on FRIDAY, What would be wrong having the Johnson CLassic finish the thursday before Could probably get the hotlaps, and six features done in a couple hours? Lots of Sprintweekers could catch a six feature night for eight bucks with those already attended paid for. Thurs July 8th?????????? While not a USAC event it would make two four race weekends and leave the other competitors to their normal nights at their normal tracks (If it isn't normally the Burg) Thanks to all who came, It was shaping up great, Glad everyone is pretty much ok, Couple heat strokes going on and a couple nasty spills.
