Yes. Lots of space on fairgrounds. One of the gate workers will direct you.

We've been camping at Du Quoin for the races since 1994. This year is the first year that the fairgrounds campgrounds have taken reservations. In the past it was first come-first served and seldom is there any spots with hookups available over the Labor Day Weekend. You can camp over in what is known as the primitive area and that area never fills up. However, if you have need for 120V AC electricity you'll need to have a generator. We were over in the fairgrounds campgrounds yesterday and the area with hook-ups was very nearly full. Don't know how the new camping reservation system will work for those showing up without reservations. Even though you can be very far away from the grandstands and fair area there are free trams running all day and all evening that will run through both the hook-ups area as well as the primitive area. If you attempt to get in a campsite with hookups you'll want to enter the fairgrounds through Gate #3. If you want to camp in the primitive camping area you'll want to enter the fairgrounds through Gate #4.

Camping at Du Quoin is part of the fun of the whole race weekend experience. You'll enjoy it.

Silver Crown Championship Dirt Cars properly driven on a one mile dirt track are classic poetry in motion. Using that analogy, Jack Hewitt is one of the greatest poets of all time.
