The Magic Man 34 is on today at Kwinana Motorplex in Australia. The race is a tribute to the late Michael Figliomeni o e of Australias best ever midget (speedcar) drivers. And the race is one of the richest midget races in the world being $12,000 to win.

US drivers competing are defending champion Alex Bright, Jerry Coons Jr and Casey Shuman.

After 2 rounds of heats, Bright has a 1st and a 4th, Coons two 2nds and Shuman two 3rds. Local Lee Redmond is leading points with quicktime and a 1st and a 3rd.
