A little birdie told me we should see some USAC action at Knoxville in 2023. I'll stop there and wait for the official announcement.

If its for real then I'd guess it will be 2-3 June. Those dates are TBA on the Knoxville schedule.

That'd be my guess as well.

It should be noted that they tried that date before and then moved it (August, I believe). For me personally, it's tough to travel the weekend following the momentous Week of Indy.

June 2-3 would also mean that Indiana Midget Week would be moved, again. But I get why USAC would want to finagle things around in reverence to Knoxville- what sanction wouldn't.

I wish great success to this (prospective) event, but much like The USAC Nationals @ Huset's, for it to be successful it will have to rely on folks NOT from Indiana.

I went to the first 2 Cornbelt Nationals. Had a great time both years. Racing was good too.
