Hey! Good for all involved! Last time I was at the 100 there were barely enough SC cars for a full feature and I could count the mods on one hand. I've bashed USAC in the past for the total disaster they created in the SC ranks when they jumped in bed with NASCAR back in the late 90s, but I have to eat crow here now and tip my hat to this series tonight. Unfortunately, I could not have made it to the 100 tonight either way.

Interesting that the SC car count is this high on a weeknight and the Sprint car count was down so low at Terre Haute yesterday.

Mike, you don't have to dine on crow! I too have blasted USAC for the debacle that was the stupid pavement marriage with NAsCAR. I challenge anyone to come up with any reason that the whole idea of that mess did nothing but kill a series that was going very well at the time. I'm sure somebody got paid at the expense of a series that was a proven instrument to producing quality race driver's. Thankfully they are making strides to turn it around and I want to tip the cap to all those involved!

Hey folks, for those of you looking for updates, I would like to recommend downloading the USAC RACING app on your phone or whatever device you have and you can listen live. I used it both Wednesday and last night (although the feed dropped out for a bit last night) and really enjoyed the calls of the race's. I'm working evenings so I am able to listen while still doing my job without even having to stop to read updates. Also it's free! Give it a try!

I also use the race moniter app it cost $5 but well worth it. I was even using it last night while at the track. I don't follow Silver Crown cars so I had no idea who was driving what 🏁

I listened on USAC app while watching race monitor. It was almost like being there. Almost.
