BC39 TICKETS NOW ON SALE

Speedway, Indiana (July 18, 2018)………Tickets are now on sale for the Driven2SaveLives “BC39” presented by NOS Energy Drink at the Dirt Track at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on September 5-6 featuring the *USAC P1 Insurance Midget National Championship.

Tickets can be purchased online at https://www.indianapolismotorspeedway.com/events/usac or via phone at the IMS ticket office at (317) 492-8500.

On Wednesday, September 5, all Wednesday General Admission ticketholders will have first-come, first-served access to the Shaw Grandstand, the temporary grandstands built in the IMS infield, near the Dirt Track.* Kids 15 & under are admitted free with paid adult ticketholders.* Wednesday General Admission ticketholders can access the IMS infield and can purchase Pit Passes.* Pit passes for Wednesday are not valid for gate admission. Optional add-on for Wednesday General Admission ticketholders.* Fans MUST hold a Wednesday General Admission ticket to add-on the Wednesday Pit Pass for $20. *Order NOW as prices will increase on August 1.

On Thursday, September 6, all Thursday General Admission ticketholders will have first-come, first-served access to the Northeast Vista Backstretch stands, the permanent grandstands outside of Turn 3 of the IMS paved oval.* Kids 15 & under are admitted free with paid adult ticketholders.* No assigned seats. Seats are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.* Thursday General Admission ticketholders cannot access the IMS infield and cannot purchase Pit Passes.

Pit passes for Thursday are not valid for gate admission. Optional add-on for Shaw (Infield) Grandstand ticketholders ONLY.* Fans MUST hold a Shaw Grandstand Reserved Seat to add-on the Pit Pass for $20.

Reserved seat ticketholders for Thursday will have access to the Shaw Grandstand, the temporary grandstands built in the IMS infield, near the Dirt Track.* Prices range from $35-55.* Order NOW as prices will increase on August 1.

The Driven2SaveLives “BC39” presented by NOS Energy Drink kicks off the week of racing at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway leading up to the Big Machine Vodka 400 at the Brickyard powered by Florida Georgia Line on Sunday, September 9.

The race new quarter-mile dirt oval located inside turn three of the famed 2.5-mile oval, will include a unique format ending with a 39-lap feature Sept. 6 in the richest Midget racing event in recent history. The event will feature more than $70,000 in purse and incentives, including a $15,000 winner's purse - the largest in Midget racing.

For the first night of action on Wednesday, September 5, the public gates open at 3pm with cars set to get on track at 6:30pm.* On Thursday, September 6, the public gates open at 3pm with cars set to get on track at 6pm.

Two days of track activity will start Wednesday, Sept. 5. All cars will draw for heat race positions and hot lap with their heat race. Two rounds of hot laps will be held, starting with the final heat and snaking back to conclude with the final heat.

Heat races will be 10 laps each, with the starting lineups determined by random draw. Points for the heats will be accumulated by finishing position and total number of positions gained or lost. Cars will be positioned into qualifying races Thursday based on the points accumulated in Wednesday’s heats.

On-track action Thursday, Sept. 6 will start with hot laps, as all cars will practice with their respective qualifying races.

All cars are eligible for the qualifying races, with up to 12 cars competing per race. Qualifying races will be 10 laps each, with top-six starting positions inverted with the top point earner from Wednesday’s heat races starting sixth. Total points from the heat races and qualifying races will be added to set the feature starting lineup, along with transfers from the B-Main, C-Main and front of the D-Main races. The top 16 overall in accumulated points will start straight-up in the first eight rows of the feature.* The night will conclude with a 39-lap A-Main feature that will have 22 starters, plus two USAC provisional starters (if applicable) and two IMS options.
