I simply stated what my experience has been at TSS and what I was told. If it's illegal, then I guess TSS staff will have to deal with it.
I really don't give a flip...A tracks policy on Beer or Wine does not keep me from attending a race. Poor promotion and **** tracks sure do. I have no problem with abiding by a track's laws ...It is their facility, and they have the right to run it how they see fit.

Now, with that said, I decided to look up the statute on this. Indiana Code IC 7.1-5-8-5 discusses licensed premises, exceptions, and if you read it, it sure sounds to me they "carved out" an exception for "facilities that are used for auto racing"....it's all lawyer speak, but read it for yourself and come up with your own conclusion....Do Not take my word for it, or anyone else, go read it yourself and tell me what you think it says.

Fair enough. I am the same way about track policies. This all got started when my buddy OppWeld made a joke about the people complaining about coolers last year. I didn't understand bashing some one who put several hundred thousand dollars into a facility, and they get bashed for not allowing coolers. I hope TSS never has to deal with it. Being a long way from Indy helps them a lot.

What I have heard is that TSS gets Special State Alcohol Considerations since they put on the best possible short track program in the state……
