Don’t follow points that close. Did drivers receive National or Sprint week points for tonight at Putnumville?

Just qualifying points tonight since that was a complete session. Since the semi didn’t get completed, and the feature lineup was not set, all heat race points are taken off the board (suspended). If the semi resumes from that point this weekend and is finished to completion, all heat and semi points will come back into play and added to each driver’s total.

Hopefully that they can get Tss racing events in tonight. Cancel Bloomington tomorrow and move it to LPS and pick up where they left off last night and go and run the finals for isw . LOL. Thanks.

Was just wondering if the bands will be good for admission if it resumes or there was enough completed?

You can always second guess everything. And I applaud LPS for getting the track ready. But with rain showing on the radar as early as late afternoon, I don't know why they could not have started engine warm up laps at 6pm. Track was ready and the crowd arrived early. Track sat ready till 6:30pm when cars started. 30 extra minutes would have sure made a difference last night.

Not defending USAC or LPS, but they are kind of in a no-win on starting early. With an advertised start time, if people show up on time and things have already started they are not going to be happy. If they start on time and get rained out, people are not going to be happy. Hindsight is 20-20. Had they not had two flips in time trials and two more flips in the heats (or was it three?) they MIGHT have gotten the show in starting at the advertised time.
