From I70 East of Indy to Eldora, is there anywhere to stop and get RV fresh water tanks filled? Every year it takes quite a while to get Port-a-kleen flagged down for water fill. I've called several truck stops along the way but no one seems to have fresh water and I've only found one with a dump station by that big go cart track. Any ideas?

Are you referring to the Flying J at Spiceland? That is where I have always stopped to get freshwater on my way out of Indy to Eldora. Top of your fuel, get freshwater, propane if need be, and grab some pizza. Should be set for the remainder of the drive there. Then, you swing back through on your way home to empty the tanks.

Thank you all for the replies.

Yes, that is the Flying J I was referring to. We stopped their this spring and they seemed clueless on water. Do you know where the water fill is there? Is there a fee?

There is a huge Flying J service center on I 70 about 30 miles east of Indy.

Water fill hose is at the fuel island. Drive thru like filling up or just get water. May have to wait your turn.

There is also a Mr. Fuel truck stop at the same exit of the Flying J, if the New Castle/Spiceland exit is what you are thinking of. Not sure on the water, but it is a nice facility and fairly new.
