Edgewater dirt track?

Anyone have any accurate info on Edgewater getting its dirt track running? I drove past, and the dirt is in, shaped like a track, but I see no infra-structure. No poles, no concrete, no buildings, was just wondering if the legalities or permit problems is stopping their progress. Their web site says under construction, but has the rules posted? Any inside info?

They posted in FB within the last month that they plan to open late June. I too have rode by and saw the same but you have to think this wet weather has put a dampener on any progress.
I wouldn't hold my breath that they'd open this year.

All the rules except sprint are posted on it's website. They were hiring to finish the track and planned to start running in june, WIth the weather, I don't know if they even got started yet on walls, lights etc.

I do know they have the old Kokomo lights, a few more would be needed but they have em. Rivers up again. I see maybe a few fall races for feedback and get ready for 2019.

I've wanted to swing by and look too, but with Burg being cancelled, It appears at least one more week for that to happen.

I mean, the drag strip is called Edgewater...I raced there years ago and greatly enjoyed it. Be nice if they got some weather to finish their dirt track project.
