Never been to the indoor track in Duqoin before. How is the ventilation inside the building? Trying to decide if i should take the wife with us or not.

We've attended all but just a couple of the midget events at Du Quoin dating all the way back to when they used to race indoors during the fair and the fumes and dust, for the most part, have not even been all that intense. The times that they have gotten a bit intense it hasn't lasted all that long. They have gotten better in recent years about keeping the entrance and arena doors open to aid in cross ventilation which seems to help quite a bit. Someone who has an average sensitivity to fumes and dust will most likely be fine. However, it could be somewhat uncomfortable for someone who is a bit more sensitive.

The lower you sit the lesser fumes
I’ve been there a bunch, had some friends that always sat high in turn 4 and the fumes are noticeable
I always sit 8-10 rows up on front stretch without them being terrible
It is indoor racing, you’re gonna have fumes

Agreed on the goggles. Not so much for the dirt but for the burning eyes from the fumes. Only notice that during long runs. Like in the feature.

Time I went it was still Powri and had a much bigger car count of 67.
Only had one short period where the fumes ever bothered me and it was the consis, I think they ran two twenty lap 15 car consi's back to back and it was bothering me by the end of he second one.

Other than that, I had no problem. Heck of a little short track. you wouldn't think they could run three wide but they do.

I see USAC is pushing to buy your tickets online. Is there ever an issue just buying your tickets at the gate like a normal dirt race? Does it ever sell out to the point they won’t let anymore people in?
