[Nut'n but Dirt]

Hello All! We've been advertising this on our Facebook Page, Phillips Motorsports #71P, for a while now, and tonight's the night it will start. At every USAC race starting tonight at Bloomington, we will be giving away a goody bag to one child in the stands. The goody bag will have a shirt with a new design especially made by Arizona Sportshirts for us, Amsoil hat, Hoosier headband, and a few other items. Any child 14 and under can get a ticket for the drawing at the USAC trailer. The plan is to draw the winning ticket before the B Main so we can get everyone ready. After the USAC sprint car feature, the child and his parents will come down to Victory Lane to get the goody bag and get to meet the drivers there. Phillips Motorsports is hoping to get more kids to the races through this promotion. So, if you have a child 14 and under, make sure to get that ticket!

One last thing, the shirts aren't ready as of yet, but for this weekend's races, we will be taking the child's name and address down to send to them next week when we get the shirts. But, they will still get the other goodies.

Thanks to all of the people who sent money in to help this cause, and they have their name on the shirt, as well as getting one of the shirts to wear. Couldn't have done it without all of you! Also, thanks to our sponsors who have helped us this year!

Was very cool that Carla made sure to bring their guest to the front straightaway after the race to make sure they got the full experience and from what I could tell the driver's were all very accomadating. It is very cool to see all the teams and the series get behind and support these kind of fan driven initatives.

it was awesome to see Brian give the kid the winning trophy. I'm sure he will remember that night, the rest if his life.

We will be doing this at all races with USAC this year. The first weekend was great Brian, and Brady both made it a special night for the winners. Carla will post pictures of the winners on our FB Phillips Motorsports #71p page. A big thanks goes to the people who's names appear on the back of the special shirt we are having made they made this promo possible. Carla is putting the art work out there now so all can see what I feel is a really cool shirt from AZ sport shirts. We are not doing these to make money only to try and get the kids excited to go to the races. If we have rain outs we will give out more prize packages at a later race maybe double up at sprint week events. Thanks to all and remember we have to secure the future of racing each and every one of us let's not let it go away.

Giving the kid the winners trophy was indeed a class act. Not a surprise, coming from Bryan, but a very class act. This is the way to grow our sport.
