Words cannot express our team's sorrow and devestation with the loss of a talented racer but more importantly an extraordinary person. It has been our honor and pleasure to have had Jesse and the entire Hockett family be part of our Chili Bowl team. Jesse's smile and generous spirit will be missed by the family and crew of Loyet Motorsports.

What a loss to so many fans, and most of all his family. I can't remember how many times I've read results of him winning races around the country.

Looks like ASCS has confirmed this. I am in disbelief as I just received a call myself.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Jesse's friends and family.

I never met Jesse, Yet he touched my soul.
His Actions in life, were oh so Cool.
Lap after lap he made my hair stand on end.
Rest In Peace and God Speed, My FRIEND!

Thoughts and Prayers to the family.
