From www.illinoislightningsprintseries.com:

The Buckshot Bandit Billy Brickley of Wataga IL, continues to keep the hot streak going on Sat. night at Peoria Speedway by winning the Speedway Motors 20 lap feature event. Billy topped a filed of 16 ILSS Speedway Motors lightning sprints on a super fast and smooth 1/4 mile to capture his 5th lightning sprint win with ILSS and wrapped up the 2013 drivers championship. At the drop of the green Andy Baugh would bring out the only caution when he lost a chain on the track to bunch up the field for another start. It wasn’t easy for Buckshot this time around. Dave Baugh of Bloomington IL, took his pole position start to the lead at the drop of the green. Dave would hold the lead with a fierce battle from Billy who was glued to the rear bumper of the number 7 machine. On lap 18 Billy managed to squeeze the 00 underneath Dave and they ran side by side the final 2 laps with Billy winning by a 1/2 car length in a thrilling 20 lap event. Brad Funk, Austin Archdale, and Gedd Ross would also have a thrilling battle for the 3rd spot. Brad would run in 3rd most of the race with Austin and Gedd in tow. Gedd would retire to the infield on lap 13 with over heating problems. Austin would not have enough to get around Brad for the 3rd spot and finished 4th. Brent Burrows would finish in 5th spot. Josh Brienen would capture the Pekin Weldors Hard Charger award by passing the most cars in the Feature coming from 13th starting spot to finish in 7th place. The 2 Keizer Wheels 8 lap heat winners were Billy Brickley and Andy Baugh .
