Can some one explain why you buy a TP from USAC and then have $100.00 taken out fo your pay off. When they go to I96 in MI they will need some local cars I am sure.MTS members should get together and tell USAC TP ok $100 no go

I was under the impression that the $100 deduction was to pay for your TP....at least that's how it sounded when they came to MO earlier this summer....If they have convinced racers to pay coming and going theres just one step left....run for congress.

Should members not get a special benefit? You are not getting deducted $100 just picture it as $400 to start then you wont notice the $100 dollars you don't receive. The guys who are USAC members travel a long way to race with them and that extra $100 I believe would be to help offset the expenses, especially the race they rescheduled in MI that $100 extra will not cover the travel expenses most members are going to have to travel up there.

The way I look at it, these races still pay $400 to start you will not find that many other places.

37 sprinters at 4 crown......not bad. USAC should just advertise $400 to start and give their members an extra hundred...then no one could figure out how to complain about that. $400 is still more than it was previous to last year. Forget about trying to make money fielding a sprint car...I don't care how many races you win or start.

The kind of equipment you have to have to run with USAC it should pay 500 minimum to start. I heard the Outlaws penalize a non-member 200 at the pay window though, but that is still 600. Since WoO pays 800 to start most shows.

Since you know it up front if you read the entry form, which is published each and every race, you just have to decide whether to race or not. If you race three or more races with USAC, it is worth your money to buy the USAC badge for the year. You get pitpasses cheaper and get to keep the $100. This is to get more cars to run with USAC and travel. The Michigan race is a USAC sanctioned event, therefore, it is USAC rules.

I understand if this was in Indiana and you haveto chance to run more races but when you go out of your area and need local cars common sense should apply. When the WOO comes to Canada their waive the membership you get free p[it passes and full pay.How many teams from MI could follow the USAC series.USAC had 10 regulars at Hartford With out locals it would be hard pressed to put on a show Fans want to see a full field
