Performance Electronics 600cc Non-Wing World Championship Hits 75 Entries!
March 20, 2018 (Peru, Indiana) – At least 75 entries from across the United States have been submitted for the inaugural Performance Electronics 600cc Non-Wing World Championship. The event is slated to take place May 23-26 at Circus City Speedway in Peru, Indiana and is expected to draw the nations top micro sprint drivers. Boasting an incredible $40,000+ total purse, the winner will take home a cool $10,000 for their effort. Kokomo, Indiana’s Brandon Rose has been a solid competitor at Circus City Speedway over the last several seasons and is expected to be a top contender. “I can’t thank Curt and the team at CCS enough for taking a chance at putting on an event of this caliber.” “It’s been since the NMMA (National Modified Midget Association) days that we’ve had a chance to defend home turf.” “These type of events will be about the only time you see an entire state root for each other.” “Hopefully we can keep the money in Indiana, even if it means Jake Moore wins!” The always versatile Dylan Kadous will be making the trip from Lawrence, Kansas to take his shot at the $10,000 top prize. “It’s exciting to be a part of inaugural race and then watch them grow.” “Indiana has a reputation for having some of the best non-wing drivers in the country and we look forward to the challenge of racing them while learning a new track.” “If we can make a little noise and bring the car home in one piece, the trip will be considered a success.” “I can’t thank Chase Smith and the Cooper Smith Racing enough for the opportunity!” Circus City Speedway is a 1/8 mile semi-banked clay oval located at the Miami County Fairgrounds in Peru, Indiana. Numerous improvements to the track and facility have been implemented over the last 12 months and will continue into the future. Curt Bullick and his team are committed to making Circus City Speedway the premier family friendly entertainment venue in the area.
