They were pretty vocal about it were I sat. Hopefully VCS realizes it is an issue being a border town. With their next event being traditional sprint and MOWA, I would hope there are plans for only 1 or 2 support with it. Who knows?

Sorry guys but the support classes were not the issue. They ran their races in a reasonable manner. The same cannot be said for that sprint feature. The sprints and track prep were the reasons the night took so long.

The sprint car feature may have been a wreck feast and took a while to run but that is 100% to blam on the corn field they gave us to run on....they started a hour later then they said the would start...ran 5 Different classes...then called cars up for the sprint B main and then did 30 minutes of track work...

When sprint car feature started they had already started losing their crowd. Sunday night school starting no need to not start on time. And yes dustin support classes (tin tops ) was not the problem.

Same thing happened when they ran MOWA and non-wing early this spring. Track was not ready, hot laps turned into a dust cloud, rewater/work, an hour later they were back on the track. Then a half hour break at 10:30. Maybe they need some advice on track prep and eliminate the down time.

It was a very long night. They made a bunch of money on all the classes. We counted 145 people setting in the pit bleachers for the semi features. Not counting the 20 idiots that stood along the fence in front of the bleachers blocking the view. Just burns my A$$ how some people have no respect. A lot of nice quality race cars were destroyed last night due to poor track prep. On the last restart of the sprint feature only 12 cars took the green. The 12G of Gurley started 13 and finished 5th and only passed 2 cars. 6 of the cars starting in top 10 went into the trailer in pieces. A lot of low budget racers lost a lot of money last night and we still have a lot of races left. Brandon Mattox had a tire issue on his trailer enroute to the track last night. I stopped and give him a spare and I'm sure this morning he's wishing I would have drove on past and waved.
