We woke up to a much better forecast than we had when we went to bed, which is always a good thing.

There is a chance of something passing through today around noon. After that things look clear. We are asking all race teams and fans to stay out of our pit area until we tell you it is ok. If you arrive early, please park in our grass fan parking area near our kart track. There is plenty of room to spread out, unload a car etc.

This will give us the chance, if necessary, to work to dry out our pits in the event we catch a little moisture around noon. If trucks, trailers and race cars are spread everywhere in the pits it would be much more difficult.

Grandstands open at 5:00. Hot laps roughly 6:15. Racing at 7:00. The pits are scheduled to open at 4:00, although we could get a little earlier. You can ignore the "reserved" signs in the pit area since we don't have any local classes racing. Large haulers should park facing South. Smaller trailer pit facing the track (north).

Fans - if there is red tape on a seat, that seat is reserved for a season pass holder. Please find another seat.

GPS Address is 8000 East Broadway, Quincy Illinois. Some GPS systems show Quincy Raceways in the middle of town where the track office used to be. If the address won't work, find Scotties Fun Spot which adjoins our parking lot. Or use the Quincy Regional Airport - we are about a mile West of the airport on the same road.

Don't forget that we will have a live stream of tonight's events for those who can't attend. Cost is $14.99 with $5 of that going back to the Speed Week points fund bonus. Go to www.QuincyRaceways.com for instructions on the PPV.

Post any questions you have here and we will try to respond. If for some reason the forecast is wrong and things get questionable, please check our hotline at 217-224-4100. We update it immediately upon any change in plans.... but we plan to be racing tonight.

Thank You

Famous last words, but the forecast looks great to get this show in tonight. There's a chance that we might roll with heats a hair early just in case. We will hot lap at 6:15, then go straight to heat races. Midgets will run first on the card followed by micros.

Remember, if you can't be there you can watch online at www.QuincyRaceways.com

I think you'll want to keep coming back. Quincy keeps climbing up on my list of favorite tracks every time there's a sprint or midget race here and hotlaps didn't change my mind.

Bought the stream from Quincy right at 6 PM CDT and have seen maybe 2 minutes of video. It just keeps refreshing automatically every 20 seconds.

Keeps saying "stream is offline".

Shoulda' known better, I reckon.

Silver Crown Championship Dirt Cars properly driven on a one mile dirt track are classic poetry in motion. Using that analogy, Jack Hewitt is one of the greatest poets of all time.

The most important piece of equipment broke during hot laps for the live stream. We will be refunding purchases, but the system will not allow us to do it until Friday at the earliest. We will try to get things going again at intermission with backup equipment for a free view of the features, but don't count on it.
