Complete new program on the 21st of Sept. The Wednesday before 4 crown.

I think it had to make it a new program because it was too many cars to get them all back.

That might have been the best thing that happened last night. We might get a good/better car count even though it is mid-week. A complete new show, too, right on the eve of the Four Crown Nats.

Joey Saldana set a new track record last night in quals. He broke the one Jason Johnson set back in the early 00s for a WoO Gumout race. That night, storms hit and the races were called, too.

Can anyone explain to me the second set of heat races they had last night? We could not hear the track speakers where we were sitting.

They called them qualifiers. We saw something similar last year at Hartford with ascoc. I'm assuming it's an under 20 car format they have. That way they don't completely take peoples money when only have 18 cars show up.

Yep, it's a second set of heats for those who don't finish in the top 2 of the first heats. Trying to give the fans a bit more racing when it's a bad car count.

Instead of extra heat races, maybe more laps in the feature. Truly a sad car count. And no one seemed to be in a hurry getting things going. Finally looked like Hartford sent there workers to the pits to help. Most of the drivers seemed very disinterested in the whole night.
