It was a USAC race. Since his lengthy recovery, he has been racing primarily asphalt late models but recently has returned to dirt, racing modifieds.

If you are wondering why there is not more active Sprintcar drivers in the lineup. $30,000 to rent a truck ride. $60,000 is a whole season for most Sprintcars.

I bet there are a lot of tore up trucks tonight I hope not though I'd like to see more of this. NASCAR needs some grass roots racing.
