For those of you joining us this Friday for our POWRi show, we have a few different procedures than normal that we would ask you to cooperate with if possible.

1. We are under a 20% capacity limit in our main grandstands. You can purchase advance tickets for our Main Grandstand by visiting our website at www.jacksonvillespeedway.com or by clicking HERE. Again, this is only for our main grandstand. Our local health officials have placed no limit on our pit capacity as there is plenty of room to keep people distanced.

2. Last week we actually had to turn people away standing in line when we opened and send them either to our pit or home. I absolutely hate doing that. If you have a hard time ordering tickets online, please send me a text at 217-371-3653 (text please if possible) and I will hold tickets for you to pick-up at the ticket window. Please do this at some point prior to Friday afternoon if possible. Otherwise, please purchase online in advance if you can.

3. I kind of think that we will still have plenty of seats available for walk-up buyers this Friday but if you choose to wait and purchase a ticket when you get here - please be prepared and understanding if you get sent to the pits if we are full. You are the one that waited to take the chance. We are trying to communicate this through as many channels as possible to reach different fans - IOW is one of those.

4. Teams/Participants - It will save us an incredible amount of time if you would VISIT THIS PAGE and have everyone coming with you complete the general liability waivers individually in advance. This can be done on the ride over or while waiting in line. The main thing is that you print a fair number of them because it's not going to do you much good to remember halfway here. Print plenty, stick them in the tow rig somewhere and you'll have them ready to sign this week or some other week. Also, please do your math in advance if possible.... $35 per person in the pits. $15 for those 12 and under. No charge for a child too young to walk. Pit checks are payable to Jacksonville Speedway. If you could PLEASE have your check made out or cash ready when you get here along with your pit waivers, you can sail through the pit line and keep our gathering size in that area to a minimum.

5. Because of our main grandstand capacity limit - those with pit passes cannot sit in the main grandstand. We do encourage you to come to the main grandstand area to use our new bathrooms, eat warmer food etc. because the facilities are better - but as far as seating - you can't go up and sit in the main grandstand. You have to sit on the pit side with a pit pass - otherwise our capacity limit is blown.

Make sense? These aren't hard rules to follow. We are doing our best to keep everyone socially distanced and follow rules that will allow us to continue operations going forward.
