Syracuse NY - Recently plans were announced to tear down the New York State Fairgrounds ’ main grandstands and re-purpose The Moody Mile, a one mile race track.

If these plans come to fruition, there will be no more auto racing at the historic New York State Fairgrounds, and this would include the end of the 43-year old Super DIRT Week, which awards the most coveted trophy in modified dirt racing.

NYS Fair Officials will be holding a Public Hearing on May 6th at the NYS Fairgrounds for the public to voice their opinions on saving the race track and grandstands.

Unable to attend the May 6th Public Hearing?

NYS Fairground officials have set up an email address where you can submit your comments regarding the future of the fairgrounds. Please take a minute and visit the link below and send them your thoughts on why they should save the Moody Mile, the grandstands and Super Dirt Week! --> http://goo.gl/bCPgrA
