Condolences to the Jenkins family. For many years and still to this day, one of my all-time favorite auto racing media personalities.

I share everyone's thoughts, and my condolences and prayers go out to the Jenkins family. Bob's wife's illness was the reason he announced he was stepping away from the mic at the end of this season. My wife and I had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with Bob at his P.A. post under the Pagoda at the Speedway one practice day in '09, and he was as genial and cordial as you could ever hope for. He had always been one of my favorite racing voices, and that conversation made him one of my favorite people. Rest in peace, Pam.
