March 31 USAC show rained out, next show on schedule is not until April 21. Question, why can there not be a rainout date scheduled at the Burg sometime before then? Seems a shame for the track, the teams, even for USAC to just lose this show to weather, when there are open weekends.

USAC tries not to schedule the sprint cars against the Silver Crown cars, so that eliminates April 7 as the Silver Crown cars are in Phoenix. Kokomo has a two night USAC midget/Kokomo sprint car event April 13-14. Probably not very smart to schedule against that, esp. on the second night. So the rainout is kind of a "no win" for the promoter and USAC.

Looking at the Lawrenceburg and USAC schedules, I don't see a lot of options I would be interested in if I was a promoter. Schedule is pretty busy.

Damn shame it can’t be rescheduled for fans and the track as well, USAC at the ‘Burg is always a great show!
I know if it could be rescheduled it would be.

Couldn't they just run their own version, instead of taking an event that another track has built for 35 years? I know you hate Eldora, but that wouldn't be right.

Another thing is Rollie started the four crown, not earl. ran it the first few years

I'd be cool with the change of venue as long as they kept it as the "four crown" and brought the all stars with them. Wings have offered the best show all season at lawrenceburg the past two seasons with their WoO shows.

Actually the late Johnny Vance started the 4 crown. It is Eldora's event. Would definitely go to something like that at the Burg, but I also believe that the track that comes up with the idea deserves to keep it.
