Tom Bigelow celebrates his 72nd birthday on this Halloween day. He leads all drivers in USAC sprint car victories with 52. Enjoyed many a Sunday afternoon at Salem watching Tom and Pancho Carter battle on the high banks. Tom would always take time to talk with the fans and give an autograph which always included the drawing of a mouse.

Happy birthday to one of the best ever. Him and the Armstrong cars (not to mention the Elder car and some others) were very successful.

Tom was ALWAYS good to the fans.

I still have (somewhere) "One Who Dared" LP with Tom and Gary Irvin featured on it.
