178,000 mostly highway miles
You will have a hard time finding a truck in as good of mechanical condition as this one with even half the miles. We invested a large amount of money in the initial purchase of this truck and knew we would have to keep it in great running condition for many years, so we kept it very well maintained. One of our good friends is a lead technician at a leading Chicagoland Ford dealership. He has babied this car since we first got it. In the past 6 months or so we have invested over $5,000 in this truck to make sure it would keep running great for many more miles. We thought we were going to keep it at the time and wanted to keep it as reliable as it has been. And now you will reap the benefits at our expense. I have the receipts.
The miles on this truck truly are mostly highway miles. We traveled the country with our 3 kids in the truck. The DVD player and roominess of the truck sure did make the long trips better. It is so big inside, it is a REAL 8 passenger vehicle.
Like I said, mechanically it is in very good condition. There are a few minor cosmetic issues. The front seats show some wear. No holes, the leather just has some "cracking". The only rust is some surface rust on the front bumper. I wouldn't consider these excessive for a 9 year old car, just trying to let you know as much as possible so there are no surprises when you come to look at the truck.
The ONLY reason we are selling this truck is because our kids are all grown up now and my wife is not working.
