Does that mean support classes should not bother to show up? Honestly, if you run a modified or midget and read this, it would seem like there's a pretty good chance you'll be paying to race and not get your feature in. That probably gets rescheduled for a date that may not work for you plus you'll have to pay to get in again if it does. Might as well just run one class if that's the only priority and save everyone else their money.

Support classes are just that, they are supporting the payouts for ALL the classes running.Through the extra grandstand tickets, the pit passes, the entry fees. All that support and pay their way to participate should be considered and not forgotten.Without each other's support, most cannot stand alone.

Man, I was skeptical mid-week with the forecast being the way it's been but it's easy to see Brownstown is doing their damndest to get this is.

If you don't like it, keep your mod or TQ at home. Let's be honest, most everyone is coming to see the sprints anyways. Be lucky Jim and those in charge even picked your cars as support classes. Either embrace it or stay home, I'm not going to be upset either way.

That said, thanks Brownstown, I'll be there.

Support classes are certainly just as important as any other. The situation at hand is we know we will be taking on Mother Nature and we have our boxing gloves ready. What we are looking at is as far as we can tell, it will be late when the weather arrives and we will be just on the edge of it at times. By starting earlier we think we have a good honest shot at getting the entire show in. We are definitely wanting to make sure the sprint feature is over first because we do not run sprints on a regular basis and respect that the drivers will soon be racing elsewhere for points. We can always run a double feature if need be in the Modifieds and TQS. Please do not assume that support classes are not important to us.

We hope everyone respects our decision in starting earlier to try our best to get the entire show in, brings the family and has a great night of side by side, heart pounding, edge of your seat open wheel action!

That's not how I read it. Nowhere in the message does it say support classes are getting delayed or rescheduled. Don't be so paranoid.
