Think instead of paying more to win, if they really wanted more cars to attend should have ran a 2nd feature paying thier regular saturday nite purse, really think that would get more cars there but thats jmo,big purse will just cause the smaller guys to stay home or just go somewhere else, still nice to run for that kind of $ at your home track

Going to create an interesting scenario between the two facilities. I can see Haubstadt not having that big of a field for the Modifieds. Could depend on who is chasing what points and so on. I was afraid of this when I saw the additional money added to the Modified side at Haubstadt against the Patriot 100. The Patriot is an established race and would seem to an advantage. That being said, I have attended the Patriot and won't go back. Instead of a 100 lap race, I got to see a 50 lap race and a 50 lap continuation. Very disappointing for me.

So I am reading Tri-State's post correct, no, that Mods are $3,100 to win this Saturday? But the rest of the field will be racing for regular type purse money as it was sponsored $$$ for first?

Don't be to sure about that. Where coming down from Northwest Indiana (Hobart area) with our blue #44 Modified to LPS Saturday to try out the track. Was there for a regular show back in late May and like what I saw as far as racing so we talked about it and that is where we will be this weekend.

Tri-State - $3,100
Plymouth - twin $2,000 win Modified shows - win both take home extra $2,000. Only $100 start
Montpelier - $1,000 to win
LPS - $4,000 to win & $250 to start.
