I was going to be happy to see a new version at a new track. Super pumped that it’s not only returning but returning to the State Fair grounds!! Finally, 2020 ushers in some good news!!

I hope what happened to speedrome doesn't shut down racing in Indiana. Someone took videos of the packed house and reported it to health department the mayor and the governor. If the tracks don't start doing the 50% we might not have no more racing. It was all over the news.

A lesson to be learned for sure at the Speedrome. The fairgrounds are much larger and if they truly cap it at 50%, we should have no problems from mayor Boss Hogsett.

It’s actually being run at 25% capacity. Plenty of room to spread out.

Will 100% of the racing families be in attendance for this great racing events?

Thanks

I lived on the east side of Indy for years and am aware that some of the " neighbors " have been trying to get the place shut down for a long time.

I wouldn't be surprised to find out that the video came from that bunch attempting to take advantage of the golden situation covid 19 has handed them to further their cause.

I saw that too but it wasnt any worse then most sprint and midget week events, Its a shame . In Marion County the limit is 25% and most of the rest of the state is 50%. Racetracks need to make a better effort to keep close to that number. I've only been to one race this year that was close to 50%. Not that I want to see the restrictions but the state could shut us down for the season and none of us want that.

If elected officials can sit next to each other shoulder to shoulder for funerals, i see no reason why it shouldn’t be allowed elsewhere.

I keep hearing liability is the main factor in the decision to cancel college football.

On the other side, if the legal definition for capacity is determined by the total acreage of usable ground space, then why wouldn’t tracks sell tickets? Is the concern really getting sick or might it actually be ambulance chasing lawyers?

IMHO real tort reform is long overdue in this country.

On a more positive note, Brady Bacons palm tree shirts are awesome!!
