Statement on the health of Richard Hoffman

As most of you know, Richard has been feeling bad lately. He has gone to Cleveland to seek diagnosis and treatment. The doctors are trying to stabilize and diagnose him but he is critical at this time. The family asks for your thoughts and, most importantly, your prayers for Richard.
Although the family truly appreciates the concern shown by so many of his friends and business associates, they are somewhat overwhelmed trying to get back to everyone. His son, Rob, is with him and will update Tim Waechter when necessary and Tim will post it publicly. Thanks for your consideration of the family’s privacy during this trying time. So sorry to read this. Had no idea Richard was sick. Prayers for Richard......he is such a legend.

Came to Indiana for the first time 20 years ago. One of the first people we me was Richard. He welcomed us and was steadfast in making us feel like we were at home. Such a great person and friend. No visit to Indiana is complete without speaking to him. Prayers are sent and hopes that we meet up again soon.

Hoffman Racing 42 mins · The Hoffman Family and Race Team want to thank everyone for their prayers and positive thoughts toward Richard. At this point there is nothing new to report on his health, other than he is very ill and in the Cleveland Clinic. Please keep you prayers coming, they mean so much coming from our loyal friends and fans . When there is something to report I will post it here

All my thoughs and prayers to the wife, family and close friends. Richard always made me feel at home.

Richard passed away today surrounded by his family. Funeral arrangements will be announced as soon as they are available.
