BRODY ROA PREPARES FOR PERRIS AND MIDWEST – NEW T-SHIRTS AVAILABLE!
(Buena Park, CA, May 24, 2017) Brody Roa and the BRP #91R team are gearing up for an ambitious eight day schedule that will see them compete in three races in three separate states. The action will kick off this Saturday night, May 27th, at the annual “Salute to Indy” at Southern California’s Perris Auto Speedway. Following that race, the team will aim the rig east for two nights of action in the Midwest.

After spending some time relaxing with his wife at the river last week, Roa goes into Saturday’s “Salute to Indy” in second place in the USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series championship standings. Through the first four USAC/CRA races of 2017, the 26-year-old rising star has yet to finish out of the top five in a main event. Thus far he has a second, two thirds and a fifth-place finish to his credit. In the two previous races at Perris this year, he has been fifth fast qualifier and finished third in his heat both times. In the mains, he has recorded a fifth and a third on the famous half-mile clay oval. Since his last appearance at Perris on April 1st, the hard charging driver has a second-place finish at Bakersfield and a third at Ventura.

The “Salute to Indy” is one of the longest running and most prestigious sprint car races west of the Mississippi. First staged in 1948, many west coast sprint legends have their name etched onto the victory list. Roa is focused on adding his name to that illustrious group this Saturday. At last year’s “Salute to Indy,” he came into the event as the USAC/CRA point leader. He was fast qualifier in the 25-car field, placed second in his heat and came home eighth in the main.

The crew will face a shorter than normal time performing routine maintenance on the car. Thank you to extra help from HD Industries and Burris Racing, they will be heading to I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Nebraska and Iowa’s Knoxville Raceway to take on the USAC National Sprint Car Series regulars a week from Friday and Saturday. Roa’s father Brett and longtime team member Zac Bozanich will leave with the car on Wednesday, May 31st. The Garden Grove, California based driver will fly in and join up with them after work next Thursday.

In addition to the ambitious schedule, B.R.P. is pleased to announce that their 2017 t-shirt is available for order. Fans can order a pre-sale package that includes a t-shirt, signed hero card, #91R window sticker and while supplies last, a koozie. The price of the package is $30.00. Items can be ordered and picked up at the track or if the buyer wishes, orders can be shipped via USPS Priority Mail for $13.00. Fans can also purchase Brody Roa hoodies. Hoodies are only offered as a pre-sale item and orders for them must be received by June 11th. Cost for the hoodies is $35.00. Shipping for the hoodies is $13.00 USPS Priority Mail.
