I am trying to wire 03 gsxr 1000 having trouble no fire to motor really need help supposed to race Saturday not knowledgable at all please help!!

Do you have resistor for ignition theft lock-out installed?

No I did not know I needed one I had read about it but that was on a 2005

Will just any resister work or do you need a certain amount of resistance???

100 ohms I think. The computer has a terminal that requires 5 to 8 volts signal to turn the ign side on (GSXR red/yellow wire ?). Some of the newer computers have radio keys for theft protection, you need to have computer flashed to get around these things or the key and ignition switch.

The guy I bought the car from said the computer had been "reprogrammed" I wonder why this wouldnt have been the first order of business once the program was opened up.
