Midwest Division ll Midget Series

The Gloria Shipman Memorial Race presented by Cresent Donuts, Tony Ogle Expediting and Colortyme Rent to Own will take place on August 28th at the Thunder Valley Raceway. The winner will receive a guaranteed $500 to win and $70 to start the 20 car feature. This is a guaranteed purse and could increase pending additional sponsors.

The guaranteed purse for this Friday's Gloria Shipman race is the following.

1st 500
2nd 250
3rd 150
4th 125
5th 100
6th 90
7th. 85
8th 80
9th 75
10th-20Th 70

Friday's schedule for the "Gloria Shipman Memorial Race " has been pushed back thirty minutes to allow teams extra time to arrive and prepare for this event.

Attention drivers and fans! This Friday 8/28/15,We will still open our gates at 4pm,but we will hold our drivers meeting at 7pm.Hotlaps will follow.Racing will start at approx. 7:45pm.

For immediate release

Mike koontz Racing / American Racer Tire is giving away a new right rear tire to a lucky driver at the "Gloria Shipman Race" this Friday. The only requirement will be to make the feature race.

The tire will be awarded to the driver that finishes the feature in the position that is randomly drawn by a young fan in the stands.
